Getting There & Around

AIR
Hokitika Airport ( www.hokitikaairport.co.nz ; Airport Dr, off Tudor St) is 1.5km east of the
centre of town. Air New Zealand ( www.airnz.co.nz ) has four flights daily to/from Christch-
urch.

BUS
InterCity ( 03-365 1113; www.intercity.co.nz ) buses depart from Tancred St daily for Grey-
mouth (45 minutes), Nelson (seven hours) and Franz Josef Glacier (two hours). Naked
Bus ( www.nakedbus.com ) services the same destinations three times a week, with both
companies offering connections to destinations further afield.

There are several car-hire branches at Hokitika Airport. Hokitika Airport Car Rental (
