In the third week of February, Napier and Hastings cohost the
sensational Art Deco Weekend. Around 200 events fill the week (dinners, picnics,
dances, balls, bands, Gatsby-esque fancy dress), many of which are free. Bertie, Napier's
art-deco ambassador, is omnipresent.
