but not party-focused, with drinkers gently encouraged to migrate into town after 10pm.

With three different camping areas nooked into the foot of Mt
Maunganui itself, this community-run park has spectacular camping with all the requisite
facilities, plus it's handy to the Mount Hot Pools (discounts for campers) and a strip of
good eateries. Reception is the local info centre.
