have small decks overlooking the bay. Spacious one- and two-bedroom units are also

Larnach Castle's back-garden lodge has 12 individually, whimsically decorated
rooms. Less frivolous are the atmospheric rooms in the 140-year-old stables. A few hun-
dred metres from the castle, Camp Estate country house has luxury suites worthy of a ro-
mantic splurge. Rates for each option include breakfast and castle entry, and dinner in the
castle can be arranged.

the eastern edge of the peninsula. Tours can be arranged, and a chef is available in sum-
