door-to-door shuttle to Christchurch ($47), along with scheduled runs ($27).
InterCity ( 03-365 1113; www.intercity.co.nz ) Stops outside the train station, with buses to
Christchurch (from $28, 2½ hours, two daily), Oamaru (from $14, one hour, two daily),
Dunedin (from $32, three hours, two daily), Gore (from $47, six hours, daily) and Te
