In-Depth Information
seasonal infertility, maintenance of a high feed intake and avoiding off-feed incidents or a
low intake in general may be key to reducing pregnancy failures and maximising embryo
survival. There is a potential area of research into the influence of specific nutrients such
as leucine and glutamine on blastocyst development prior to implantation. Around
and after implantation, arginine promotes placental vascularisation, thereby increasing
embryo survival or development.
