where you'll find the sandy beaches of Vela Przina and Bilin Zal. Pupnatska Luka in the
south of the island is also a lovely beach, but has pebbles instead of sand. For larger bays
try Brna or Istruga.
Other Things to See and Do
Discover the island's ancient past with finds from the archaeological site Vela Spila at the
'Center for Culture' located in Vela Luka, to the extreme west of the island. The Korkyra
Baroque Festival, held over ten days during September, is a new event showcasing the tal-
ents of Baroque musicians. Korcula is accessed by regular ferry from major ports such as
Split, Drvenik, Hvar, Zadar and Rijecka.
