rendering from 2003 to 2009 was the equivalent of more than a decade of research
in other areas. Another remarkable phenomenon is how soon after its publication
a new method has been implemented and adapted in practical rendering. In turn,
this resulted in further advances in the research side. This is an ideal process for
advancement in any field.
