The McKay Hollow Trail comes in from the right (there is also a
trail shelter here). Continue to the south on the white-blazed
trail.

A short, 100-foot trail to the right (southwest) takes you to a
bluff.

Continue straight (southeast) on the white-blazed trail. There
are more views just after the intersection.

Arrive at O'Shaughnessy Point, with a great view. This is fol-
lowed by a Y intersection. The Warpath Ridge Bike Trail contin-
ues straight to the south; turn left (north) and continue on the
South Plateau Loop. In a few feet the Mountain Mist Trail will be
passed on the right.

Pass a trail shelter and view.
2.1
Pass a bluff with a view on the right (east). In less than 0.1 mile,
the dirt path merges with a gravel road that comes in from the
left (a sign here reads “Gravel Road”). Continue to follow the
white blazes to the north.

The Fire Tower Trail enters from the left. Continue straight
(north), following the white blazes.

Pass a trail shelter.

The gravel road turns to the left; continue to follow the white
blazes to the north. The trail is a wide dirt footpath again.
