A trail comes in on the right (northeast). It looks like the trail
should go straight, but it doesn't. It dead-ends. Turn right onto
the unmarked trail, which is still the Alms House Trail. (There
are some markers in a few yards, but they are for those head-
ing in the opposite direction.) Very steep climb here over rocks.
