In-Depth Information
Ford across Turkey Creek. The canyon walls shoot up around
you; the water will be cascading over the rocks to your left and
a wide waterfall spills into the creek through the rock wall just
up from that. After crossing, it's a small climb up a hill and then
the full canyon comes into view. The waterfall coming through
the rock wall is created by an upper fall at the top of the huge
bowl that you are standing in. The water falls into a pool and
disappears into the canyon, shooting out here. You will have to
climb up the rock wall of the bowl to see the upper fall. It's a
steep rock scramble and very slippery so again, use caution!
3.0
Arrive at the upper fall. Turn around here and return to the trail-
head retracing your steps. Again remember, it is a very steep
climb out so allow yourself plenty of time to return.
3.2
Return to the trailhead.
