Miles and Directions
Start at the parking lot trailhead. The trail begins on the north-
east side of the parking lot. It is a short scramble up a 10-foot
clay bank. The trail is a dirt footpath marked with blue blazes or
yellow diamond signs with either a hiker or an arrow. The can-
opy is rather thin at the start. From the start the path begins a
steady, moderate climb to the top of a ridge. The canopy and
trees thicken in about 0.1 mile.
