In-Depth Information
Take the left fork to the west. The trail is now blazed red and
yellow.
Start getting views to your right of the quarry, especially when
the leaves are down in late fall and winter. In 150 feet climb
down a steep set of rock stairs. At the bottom there is a Y. The
left fork is the Possum Loop. Take the right fork to the north and
follow the sign to the Cambrian Overlook. In only 50 feet come
to a short, rocky side trail on the right. Turn onto that trail to the
northwest (a small sign reads “Cambrian Overlook”).
1.3
Arrive at the Cambrian Overlook. Enjoy the view but be very
careful on the dangerous, steep bluff. Turn around and retrace
your steps to the trailhead.
1.4
Arrive back at the trailhead.
