Miles and Directions
Start at the Sulphur Springs parking lot and trailhead. The trail
begins through a split-rail fence to the east. A sign here indic-
ates the distances to Patriotic Junction, Frog Pond, the Boulder
Field, and the Great Wall. The path is initially gravel. Boy
Scouts have put up really nice signs identifying trees along the
path. In less than 0.1 mile, come to an intersection. Turn right
(south) onto the Blue Trail. The trail is now a dirt footpath.

Arrive at Patriotic Junction. This is where three trails meet: the
Red, the White, and the Blue. Turn left (northeast) onto the
White Trail (now blazed white).

Come to a Y; take the left fork to the northeast. The canopy
thins a bit through this area.

Cross a gravel road (one of the connector trails) to the east;
you will see a post with a sign on it where the trail continues.
The sign here shows the way to the Frog Pond (ahead to the
east) and the Boulder Field to the left (north). Turn left and con-
tinue on the White Trail to the north. The path is paralleling Pre-
serve Parkway. ( Option: A short, 200-foot side trail takes you
to the Frog Pond, a small pond just below Preserve Parkway.)

Start heading away from the parkway through a small rock
garden downhill. At the bottom of the hill, cross a small creek.

Arrive at Tunnel Falls. The trail passes right next to the waterfall
on its left side (west). About 40 feet north of the falls, the trail
