interesting museum of Native American artifacts donated by Walter Farr. The mu-
seum is located at Cheaha State Park directly across from the country store. Hours
vary and tours are available. Call ahead for information.

state's highest mountain.

two excellent nonprofit forums designed to keep hikers and backpackers up to
date on the latest trail conditions, with detailed information about hiking in the
state from the people with “boots on the ground.” Membership is free.
