Start at the trailhead on the north side of the parking lot. The
entrance to the trail is clearly marked with a white-and-red sign
reading “To Tower.” In 400 feet come to a kiosk with basic rules
for hiking the trail. A large wood sign reads “To Tower / To Little
Smith Mountain Trail.”
