Come to the end of the lake, where Chewacla Creek flows in.
This is a nice wetland with plenty of frog song. The path is a bit
more thick and overgrown here but is well worn and easy to fol-
low. In 100 feet pass through a short tunnel of mountain laurel.

Cross a short, 10-foot bridge over a runoff.

After thick overgrowth the trail opens up and you will see the
park road on the left (north). In 150 feet come to a Y. Take the
right fork (southeast) uphill on the Womelsdorf Trail.

Come to a T intersection with a wide dirt path. Turn to the right
(south) onto the path.

Come to another T intersection. Turn right (northeast) onto the
Fox Trail (you will see the park road on the left). The trail is a
little bit rockier through here.

Pass a side trail to the creek on the right (north).

Come to the restrooms at the parking lot. Turn left (south) and
head up the stairs to arrive back at the trailhead.
