Start at the short set of cement stairs on the right (north) side of
the parking lot. Head north 50 feet and just before the re-
strooms, turn left (southwest) onto a dirt footpath. Walk about
500 feet and you will cross over a CCC culvert just behind the
pavilion. The trail turns right (northwest) and heads steeply
downhill to the waterfall.

Go around a split-rail fence and in 50 feet the trail will turn to
the right (northeast). A short side trail continues straight to the
north to the base of the falls. From here the trail follows the
banks of the lake. In less than 0.1 mile, the trail narrows to
about 1 foot wide with a washout or two.

Pass a trail on the right that heads uphill back to the parking
area. Continue straight to the northeast.
