20 Chewacla State Park Loop
Set within the rustic confines of this small state park just outside a bustling college
town, the trails at Chewacla State Park offer a chance to get away from college
crowds and provide excellent opportunities for bird watching and a view of the
beautiful 25-acre lake and the falls at the CCC dam.
Start: Parking lot at CCC pavilion
Distance: 1.8-mile loop
Hiking time: About 1 hour
Difficulty: Easy along lake bank and ridge, moderate climb down to falls
