18 Nellie Pond Loop
This trail uses a section of the Conecuh Trail that is known as the North Loop. It is
an easy walking path that takes you to two of the trail's highlight cypress ponds,
Gum and Nellie. The path winds through dense, shady tree cover, and you're likely
to see plenty of wildlife. Eastern wild turkeys and quail dart from the brush, hawks
sail overhead, and frogs serenade.
