steel gate to the northwest on a wide gravel service road.

Come to a T intersection with another dirt road. Turn right
(northwest).

marked with orange surveyor flags.

FYI:
This would be the end of the loop if you
could make it through the bog on the west side.) A green sign
with white lettering reads “Pitcher Plant Loop” and points to the
north. Take the right fork and head north.
