Start from the Village Point Park Preserve trailhead located
about 250 feet west of the parking lot on Mobile Bay. The trail-
head is well marked. The hike begins on a boardwalk over a
wetland.

Come to the end of the boardwalk. The trail becomes a wide
dirt and gravel road and heads off in two directions, to the left
(east) and straight ahead. For now, continue straight ahead to
the south.
