In-Depth Information
The exhibition in use.
The finished exhibition space.
Outcome
The success of the exhibition lies in its combination of simple ways of presenting
complicated data sets. The ability to isolate individual chunks of information means
that the user can decode and interpret the material quickly and in a meaningful man-
ner. Traditional means of visualization - the chronological archive and the interper-
sonal archive - are combined in the digital arena with the interactive network archive
to form an absorbing experience. The technology is used as a way for the viewer to
filter and analyze the data. It rationalizes the information and presents it as simple
visual diagrams that react in real time to input from the user/viewer.
