In-Depth Information
Jens Weber and Andreas Wolter founded mediaarchitecture.de in Weimar, Germany,
in 2006. They have been described as 'operating at the intersection of art, design and
technology'. The award-winning partnership works mainly on commercial projects,
but also ventures into art and design research.
The project showcased here is the ImpulsBauhaus display at the Bauhaus University
in Weimar. It conveys information in the form of a physical installation. The exhibi-
tion is dedicated to the examination of the social networks of the Bauhaus movement
and its global influence. It combines static and kinetic information presented within
a dedicated space. The exhibition was designed to mark the 90th anniversary of the
establishment of the Bauhaus School and its principles.
