One of the biggest problems information designers face is how to retain quality and
parity when designing for multiple platforms. Most designers will design with limit-
ations in mind and adapt the content in line with the capabilities of the software. To
illustrate this, we have chosen the BBC News app for the iPad (pp. 114-15) and the
BBC iPlayer mobile app for iPhone and Android (pp. 116-17).
