SPRING AND FALL
Spring is short (end of March to end of
May) and is characterized by a general
thaw leading to wet and muddy condi-
tions. Fall is often cool. A sweater, scarf,
gloves, windbreaker and umbrella will
therefore come in handy.
SUMMER
Summer lasts from the end of May
to the end of August. Visitors should
bring along t-shirts, lightweight shirts
and pants, shorts and sunglasses; a
sweater or light jacket is a good idea
for evenings. Hikers should remember
that temperatures are cooler at higher
altitudes.
