The interesting Museum of Northern
British Columbia displays various
artifacts, as well as magnifi cent works
of art and jewellery, which serve as
proof that Aboriginal people have been
living in this region for over 5,000 years.
The gift shop, located inside the mu-
seum, features a vast selection of topics
on indigenous art, as well as displaying
crafts and paintings.
The picturesque neighbourhood of Cow
Bay , built on piles and over-
looking a pretty sailing harbour, is a
must-see. All sorts of shops, cafes and
restaurants are clustered together in a
colourful seaside setting.
