Managing permissions
In the CloudReport folder seen earlier, there were two folders and another was
added. Highlighting the Report Parts and clicking on MANAGE PERMISSIONS
at the bottom of the screen brings up the Manage Permissions window. The choices
are also similar to what you saw in Report Manager in a Native mode installation of
Reporting Services 2012:
This completes the task of managing users, permissions, and reports.
Report viewing
You can view reports on the Windows Azure Reporting site in three ways:
• Use a Web browser to view hosted reports (also review, accessing Report
Server URLs in a WPF Project in the next Chapter)
• On-premise applications with embedded Report Viewer controls
• Windows Azure hosted applications with embedded Report Viewer controls
Everything you learnt in Chapter 2 can be used for this chapter. You can use all the
report layout controls, as well as view reports in various formats.
