Click on the link and provide the credentials ( june10 , password ) and you
will see the following window displayed:
It is very similar to the Native mode Report Server. Presently, there are no reports
or data sources or other objects on the database. The version is 11.0.1722.19 ,
which means it is a SSRS 2012 Report Server.
We have now succeeded in creating a Report Server on the Windows Azure
platform. In the next section, we will create a report using the CloudT table
on Skyblue and create a report. After creating the report using SSDT, we will
deploy it to the Report Server we created earlier.
Creating a report based on the Skyblue database on
the Windows Azure Platform
We start with SSDT (or even Report Builder 3) on the computer to create a report
based on the Skyblue database on the cm42kmawcd server:
1. Launch SSDT with administrator privileges.
2. Create a Report Server project, RPCloud .
3. Create a new data source using a Microsoft SQL Azure type of database.
4. For the connection string, fill in details as shown here. Use the following
in the Connection Properties window:
° Server name : cm42kmawcd.database.windows.net
° User name : june10
° Password : password
° Select or enter a database name : Skyblue

Test the connection using the Test Connection button:
