The shell environment will run most of the locally run programs and
only signed programs downloaded from the Internet. The default policy
is therefore set to be Remote Signed, and you can find it by typing Get-
ExecutionPolicy when you are in PowerShell. If it is not, you can set
the execution policy by typing Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned
in the cmdlet .
When you use PowerShell for managing SQL Server, it is easier to start
PowerShell from SQL Server Management Studio .

6. Right-click on the SQL Server Instance, then click on Start PowerShell

in the drop-down list:

PowerShell and reporting services with
SharePoint Integration
When reporting services 2012 is installed in SharePoint Integrated mode, there
are basically two ways you can administer. You can administer reporting services
directly from the Central Administration Site of SharePoint (parts of which are
covered in Chapter 6 , Power View and Reporting Services and Chapter 7 , Self-Service
Data Alerts in SSRS 2012 ), or by using PowerShell. In this section, we will look at
some of the administration-related features using PowerShell.
