Alert logs and alerting database
Reporting Services provides logs while running data alert definitions. There are three
logs associated with Data Alerts: alert execution log, Report Server execution log, and
Report Server trace log. The alerting database has a ExecutionLogViewTable table,
which can be queried or one of several stored procedures can be run to get more
detailed diagnostic of how the alert functioned. You can also carry out management
using the stored procedures. You will find these in the alerting database shown here
in SSMS:
