4. Type in the name in the User/Group field, in this Jay is a user; type his name

and you can click the small icon with a tick mark. Click on the icon to verify
the user as shown in the following screenshot:

5. Choose Grant Users permission directly . In the expanded node, place a

check mark for Full Control . Enter a personal message and click on OK .
User Hodentekwin7\Jay gets full control for the selected report as shown
in the following screenshot:

6. You as the site owner can easily remove the permission using

Permission Tools .

Creating a Data Alert
A data alert is created by the report author and he is the sole owner. An administrator
may be able to see the Data Alerts. The SharePoint server provides a graphic user
interface to create Data Alerts.
