Reports with maps
Reports showing demographic maps, store sales with maps, crime rate with maps,
and so on have become all too common. In creating reports, with embedded map
displaying data became possible with spatial data types in SQL servers. These next
hands-on just shows the basic steps for creating a report with embedded map.

In doing this, you should have a database that contains business data stored in
relation to the geographical data. Adventure Works 2012 has such data and it
will be used. Only some basic steps will be shown due to space limitations.
