Hands-on exercise 5.2 - creating a report
from a shared data source

Chapter 4

Working with Report Manager
, we created a data source, a shared data
source named
DS_Shared
. In this hands-on exercise, we will create a report using
the shared data source on the report server.
You cannot create a shared data source in Repot Builder and
you will have to create one using Report Manager or SSDT.
1.
Start Report Builder with
Run As Administrator
permissions.

Right-click
Data Sources
under
Report Data
.

Click on
Add Data Source...
.
