4. Click on Microsoft SQL Server. The connection string field is still empty.
Click on the
Edit
button to the right of the empty field. The
Connection
Properties
window will be displayed. Make suitable entries as shown;
for the Server name, type of authentication, and picking a database from
the drop-down list. You will see
Northwind
in the
Database
drop-down
list because we downloaded the sample database and attached it to the
SQL Server instance:

Click on
OK
after testing the connection. The
Connection string
field will
be updated, as shown in the next screenshot.
