LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST initialization parameter file. You
should see the archived Redo log files
ALTER SYSTEM SWITCH LOGFILE;
You can use V$DATABASE dynamic performance view to
check the status on ARCHIVELOG mode. Using Oracle
Enterprise Manager Database Control you can manage redo log
files archiving process by clicking on “Recovery Settings” under
Maintenance tab.
