Control; this is the Home screen/page. There are four tabs at the top:
Home, Performance, Administration, Maintenance.
The complete management of database is possible using Oracle
Enterprise Manager Database Control whether the database is
residing on the same machine or even in some other state or
country. Before the development of Oracle Enterprise Manager
Database Control DBAs' used to do stuff using SQL statements
but now Oracle Enterprise Manager Database Control uses the
same SQL statements in the background for each of the tasks we
perform by clicking on its web interface. In the next chapter we
will learn how to manage Oracle database manually as well as
using Oracle Enterprise Manager Database Control.
