The first group is reserved for defining the conceptual vocabulary we need in
order to identify and describe basic temporal objects with or without durations such
as, for example, instants and (temporal) periods or, in more concrete terms,
temporalunits such as days , months , years , decades and centuries .

The second group is reserved for describing events : events which punctuate
biological or social life (birth, moments of passage, death), historical evolution,
personal or collective identity or indeed reverence of and union with a transcendent
being.
