Managing the DynamoDB table
Clicking on
DynamoDB
in the management console for the first time will open a page that
consists of three sections:
• The first section in the top-left corner provides information such as where the
tables will be created (this can be changed by clicking in the top-right corner of the
page, where
N. California
is currently) and a button to create a DynamoDB table.
• The second section in the bottom-left corner displays the steps involved in table
creation.
• The third section on the right-hand side provides additional links to get further in-
formation about DynamoDB. This section consists of a video depicting the advant-
ages of DynamoDB.
Clicking on the
Create Table
button will open the following page that asks for mandatory
table creation parameters, that is
Table Name
and the
Primary Key
attribute names and
type:
