SELF refers to the level listed as the second argument and means to
take the members at that level. AFTER refers to the level or levels that
appear below the level listed as the second argument. BEFORE refers to
the level or levels that appear above the level listed and below the mem-
ber given as the first argument. The BEFORE_AND_AFTER,
SELF_AND_ AFTER, SELF_AND_BEFORE, and
SELF_BEFORE_AFTER flags combine these basic options, as shown in
Figures A-5 through A-12 .
