Working with light sources
When working with 3D objects in Photoshop, you can control the lighting and add
additional light sources. You can also change the position and direction of the default
lighting. In this part of the lesson, you will adjust the lighting to be more intense, thereby
improving the readability of the text on the can.

Select the Move tool ( ).

In the 3D panel select Ini nite Light 1. Notice that the Properties panel updates with the
type of light, the color, and shadow options. Notice that in your Main view there is a new
element on the screen: the light control. You will now change the position of the light
source.
When the Ini nite Light 1 element is selected in the 3D panel, you will see light controls appear in your Main view.

Click anywhere within your Main view.

Click and drag counter-clockwise; the light source begins to shift. Pay particular
attention to the shadow of the can and to the Ini nite Light 1 icon located outside the
border of your Main view.
