the. engine. is. running.. Fueling. operations. must. be. done. in. such. a. manner. that. the.
likelihood.of.spillage.will.be.minimal..When.spillage.occurs.during.fueling.opera-
tions,.the.spilled.fuel.must.be.washed.away.completely,.evaporated,.or.other.mea-
sures.taken.to.control.vapors.before.restarting.the.engine..Fuel.tank.caps.must.be.
replaced.and.secured.before.starting.the.engine.
Fueling.hoses.must.be.of.a.type.designed.to.handle.the.speciic.type.of.fuel..It.is.
prohibited. to. handle. or. transfer. gasoline. in. open. containers.. No. open. lights,. open.
lames,.sparking,.or.arcing.equipment.is.allowed.during.fueling.or.transfer.of.fuel.
operations,.and.no.smoking.should.be.permitted.

have. the. potential. to. cause. severe. injuries. when. used. or. maintained. improperly..
