Summary
Shaders and render textures are extremely useful tools when it comes to graphics program-
ming. In this chapter, we touched on their implementation in SFML and how they can be
loaded and used to create interesting effects. There is a lot more to explore when it comes
to shaders though, as GPUs have a lot of power nowadays that can be used to create
amazing-looking scenes.
Now that we are done with shaders, we can move to an entirely different, but still fascinat-
ing, area of games programming—networking.
