Gulf Islands National Seashore Davis Bayou “ Unit
Davis Bayou Unit
Located just east of Ocean Springs, the Davis Bayou unit of Gulf Islands National
Seashore has many opportunities for observing the bird life found in the brackish marshes of
this region. The entrance to the park is off the southern side of US 90, just east of the inter-
section of US 90 and Ocean Springs Road, where there is a traffic light; there is no traffic
light at the entrance to the park, but there are signs. The entrance road will take you to the
visitor center; park hours are 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., except for campers.
