Conecuh Nat'l Forest
The Conecuh Trail and the pond areas of the Conecuh National Forest can be reached by
taking US 29 east from Brewton or west from Andalusia. Turn south on SH 137; after about 4
miles, the road to Blue Pond will be on the left; this is Forest Road 334. Another mile brings
you to County Road 24; turn east, and in the short distance of 0.3 mile Forest Road 336 leads
to the south; this road takes you to Open Pond and the southern portion of the trail.
