Matt Blute
Matthew is a Los Angeles-based cinematographer who specializes in live-
action stereographic 3D cinema, commercials, and television. Matthew's
recent 3D credits include Stereographer for Imagine Entertainment's Katy
Perry: Part of Me , 2nd Unit Stereographer for Fox's Dawn of The Planet of
The Apes , Stereographic Supervisor for the $30M WWII 3D epic, Stalingrad ,
directed by Feydor Banderchuk, and Stereographer for Transformers: Age of
Extinction , directed by Michael Bay. Beginning in 2002, Matthew has been
active in 3D cinematography, learning from Peter Anderson, ASC, while
working with 3ality Digital and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Over
the last 10+ years, Matthew has worked on hundreds of 3D projects for clients
including Fox, NFL Films, Sony, Toyota, Turner, and Warner Brothers. A native
of Vermont, Matthew earned an MFA in Cinematography from the American
Film Institute in 2003. In addition to his work on television and features,
Matthew served as a Stereographer at Sony Pictures Studios in 2010-2011,
consulting for Sony on various live action 3D projects, product design, and
teaching the ICG and DGA 3D seminars at the Sony 3D Technology Center.
In 2012, Matthew was elected to the Board of Governors of the International
3D Society.
Nick Brown
Nick started his journey into 3D in 2007, running dailies at 3ality Digital for
U23D. He quickly became a trusted Stereographer and worked on over 50
live action 3D productions in over 10 countries in less than 5 years. During
his years at 3ality, he experienced a variety of different productions, including
feature i lms, TV shows, commercials, music videos, concerts, sports, special
venue projects, and many of the i rst live action 3D broadcasts around the
world. Since going freelance in 2012, Nick's work as Stereographer and/
or Post Stereo Supervisor can be seen on Step Up Revolution 3D (2012), One
Direction: This Is Us (2013), and Stalingrad (2014). His motto in work and life
is “More depth, less deviation.”
Keith Collea
Keith is a versatile i lmmaker who has constructed 3D landscapes across a
gamut of independent and studio features. He has worked on indies such as
The Gene Generation and The Mortician 3D as well as big-budget productions
like Pirates of The Carribean: On Stranger Tides and The Monkey King , Asia's
