9.4.1 Media Composer & Symphony
Description:
Avid's Media Composer is a widely used hardware/software and
software-only editing tool. Symphony has additional features geared
toward i nishing. The hands-down leader in networked editing capability
through its ISIS media management system, Avid is the dominant editing
system in the broadcast and cinema professional marketplace. Strong
3D correction and grading tools, including some automated geometry
correction and color matching capability. Requires additional graphics
card for some 3D functionality, including real-time playback of RAW
imagery
