to adjust depth by setting and manipulating keyframes. This is a manual
process: the depth team locates the possible issue visually and addresses it
(if  possible) using the adjustment tools. Most mainstream editing systems
have some native capability for depth grading. Those which do not are served
by a variety of plug-ins which effectively do the same thing.
