3.6.3.1 Editing Systems
Editing systems are tools that enable handling and spatial and temporal
manipulation of L/R imagery (and metadata) on a synchronized timeline.
3.6.3.2 Conform Systems
Conform systems specialize in the i nishing aspect of editorial. Conform
systems require an EDL from an external edit session so that they know which
i les to link to for the i nishing phase of a project. One could certainly edit
with a conform system but it might not be the most efi cient way. Conform
systems can be combined with editing, color, geometry and depth correction
functionality.
3.6.3.3 Plug-Ins
Plug-ins are software functionality purchased separately with the objective
of enhancing 3D capability for the host software.
