pate the necessary site improvements. A comprehensive site analysis will ensure that your site is
suitable for the targeted ecosystem and restoration strategies you seek to use in your restoration
project. The design approach and conceptual plan begins to take shape as the data are organized
into the SWOT-C format.
Pulling the entire restoration plan and design together is no simple task. When the site analysis
is conducted within this SWOT-C protocol, you begin to isolate the causes of your site problems
and develop appropriate strategies. The intensity of this analysis also depends on the complexity of
your site and the extent of the restoration activities being contemplated.
